Meet The Team

Matt Pullen

Founder/Owner

Hello, I'm Matt, a lifelong military history enthusiast and painter of miniatures since the age of 8. Transitioning from a full-time role as a police officer to become the primary caregiver for my two daughters, I seized the opportunity to turn my passion into a profession. With each project, I worked on my craft and built a loyal clientele. In 2018, I took the leap to establish No Man's Land Studio, where I continue to merge my passion for historical accuracy, miniature painting and providing a reliable, highly professional service for others.

Conor Jackson

Artist/ Blogger

Hello, I’m Conor and have been a history enthusiast since a very young age. I started out my hobby in miniature wargaming around 13 years old and have been an avid painter and gamer ever since.

I’m very grateful and excited to be able to join with Matt at No Man’s Land and work with our wonderful clients on commission projects, combining both my passions into one.

Dean Spencer

Artist/Blogger

Hello! My name is Dean and I joined the No Man’s Land team in January of 2025. I have been part of the Hobby from the age of 11, and became enthralled with playing and painting.

I took on historicals 4 years into my wargaming career, painting across periods and styles. My favoured period being the second world war where I amassed a large collection of Soviets!

I am honoured to work with the No Man’s Land team with blogging, painting and bringing those models to life in our Brush to Battlefield project.
